Bars and Nightlife in Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik's nightlife spans the Buza cliff bars, Old Town cocktail lanes, wine bars, the Revelin fortress club and Banje's beach club.
Nights in Dubrovnik start on the rocks. The two Buza bars pour drinks through openings in the seaward walls onto terraces above open water, closing when the weather turns; they take cash and stay rammed at sunset. Back inside the walls, the lanes off Stradun hold cocktail rooms, an established Irish pub trade and wine bars pouring Peljesac and Konavle bottles by the glass, with most licences winding down by 1am inside the walls.
The late shift moves to the edges. Culture Club Revelin fills the vaults of the sixteenth-century Revelin fortress by Ploce gate with touring DJs until early morning, and Banje's beach club runs day-to-night through the season. Lapad's bay strip covers the hotel crowd with terrace bars and live music, a calmer scene that suits families and mixed groups. Outside the June-to-September peak most of the club calendar stops, leaving the pubs and wine bars carrying winter.
