Dubrovnik Accommodation
Hotels and Apartments in Dubrovnik
Accommodation in Dubrovnik spans Old Town apartments, resort hotels on Babin Kuk and Lapad, Ploce five-star houses and Gruz guesthouses.
Where you sleep in Dubrovnik shapes the whole trip, because the city's districts behave differently. Apartments inside the walls put Stradun on your doorstep but come with stairs, luggage hauls from Pile or Ploce gate where cars stop, and street noise until late; they also sell out first for summer. The Ploce strip immediately east of the walls holds the five-star tier with sea-facing pools and direct views back at the Old Town.
The volume sits west of the centre. Lapad and Babin Kuk carry the large resort hotels within walking distance of the peninsula beaches, connected to the Old Town by the frequent bus lines along the Lapad corridor, about fifteen minutes door to door. Gruz suits ferry and cruise connections and keeps guesthouse and apartment prices noticeably below Old Town rates, with the Elaphiti ferries and the main bus station close by. Outside July and August rates drop sharply, and a good share of hotels stay open year-round, unlike the seasonal apartments.
